Shlova Piro
Shlova Piro is a Duhok based artist who was born in 1992. Her interest in art began in early childhood when she started drawing with pencils and watercolors. Her interest in art kept growing so she began painting in high school and then decided to open her first art exhibition along with her classmate at their school. When it was time for college, she decided to expand her passion in art and so Shlova enrolled in Duhok University’s Fine Arts Department.
Shlova rejuvenates her love and passion for art by experimenting with different aspects of it every day. When she paints, she puts a lot of emotions into her artwork which results in highly expressive paintings that captivate anyone who sees them.
Shlova was deeply influenced by the death of her professor and head of Fine Arts department, Dr. Saadi Babely. He was the only one who left a high mark on her and showed her the true meaning of art.
