Khairy Adam
Khairy Adam is an accomplished artist with a strong educational background, holding an MFA in Painting from the Academy of Art University and a BFA in Painting from Salahuddin University. He has participated in more than 20 plus, solo, and group exhibitions, showcasing his work internationally. Notable solo exhibitions include “The Girl of Dreams” at Cannery Gallery in San Francisco, CA, and an exhibition at Duhok Gallery in Kurdistan, IQ. He has also been part of a wide range of group exhibitions, including the Duhok Gallery Annual Exhibition, Kurdistan Images of Existence in Poland, and the International Contemporary Art Fair at Carrousel du Louvre in Paris.
Khairy Adam’s artistic talent has been recognized through awards such as the 1st Place American Art Award and the Body of Work Award at the Academy of Art University Spring Show. In addition to his exhibition success, he has been commissioned for various artistic projects, including studio decoration, murals, and book illustrations. With a wealth of experience as an art teacher and instructor, Khairy Adam has contributed to institutions such as Dasinya Art Institute, the American University of Kurdistan, and Duhok University. As a member of the Kurdistan Artist Syndicate, he actively engages in the art community.
