Concept of the Artwork:
The artwork differs from the character. As a Kurdish artist, I find it necessary to commemorate the ancient characters of our history and introduce them to the newer generations through art. Hepse Xani Neqib was a woman whose ideology, actions, and objectives were ahead of her time. Women of power who stood side by side with men and spoke of women’s rights very rarely emerged during the era she was born in. in 1930, the first women association named the Kurdish Women Association was established by the leadership of Hepse Xani Neqib. In 1930, she wrote a historical and political letter to the League of Nations in Geneva and forthrightly demanded Kurdish rights on the land of Kurdistan. Hepse Xani Neqib was political, a philanthropist, and an active woman for women’s rights
